O zelador Griffin, trabalha em um enorme zoológico a 15 anos. Está apaixonado por Stephanie, mas ela quer muito que ele mude de profissão. Os animais decidem revelar para o amigo que consegue falar para evitar com que ele saia do zoológico. Mas a patricinha consegue convencê-lo de sair do zoológico e procurar um emprego de vendedor de carro com o irmão. Griffin não suporta a vida falsa e volta para o zoológico e começa a namorar a veterinária do mesmo zoo que ele trabalha.
